Took my wife for lunch in late November, she had never been there. She loved it!! That feels like home atmosphere, beautiful Christmas decorations and the friendly service and great food.
A little pricy, but the food is very good. The pies are excellent. The Fruits of the Forest pie is amazing and I highly recommend it.
I love eating here. If you can beat the dinner time crowd on the weekend, there is always a great, fulfilling meal to be had and a wonderful atmosphere! Huge menu with plenty of home cooked favorites for everyone. Don't forget to look for the specials board, too!
Cheap, fast, cute, restaurant. Friendly staff and clean dinning room and bathrooms. There seems to a lot more emphasis on atmosphere and service than food. The food was not bad, mind you, just typical greasy spoon. Honestly, it was as good as you get from your home freezer, just no dishes for you to clean. Would recommend for quick family meal.
Great food, but terrible service. The waitress brought the food and 5 min. Later wondered if we wanted to go boxes. We were only half finished with our meal. We never saw her again. She didn't refill our drinks or bring the bread we asked for. We have been eating here for a number of years and always had good service. This was some of the worst ever.
